The Jets beat the Falcons, 27-24, on Sunday to improve to 3-9 this season.
Here are some thoughts and observations from the game:
1. When the Jets got off to a terrible start and people were wondering about Aaron Glenn, one thing I thought would be key in the evaluation of Glenn in his first season would be whether the Jets looked like a better team in November/December than they did in September.
Well, we’re through November and the Jets have clearly improved over the last five games. There are five games to go so the evaluation is not complete, but these last five weeks are a good sign for Glenn. The Jets have gone 3-2 in those games and were competitive in two losses to the Patriots and Ravens. The Jets pulled off an all-time comeback in Cincinnati and used all three phases to beat the Browns and Falcons.
