A motorcycle influencer known for riding hands-free in skimpy, risque outfits has been killed in a crash with two vehicles — just hours after posting about her fears she could have an accident.
Karen Sofia Quiroz Ramirez, known online as “Bikergirl,” died Wednesday after falling under the wheels of a truck as she tried to ride her bike between two vehicles in her native Colombia, Jam Press reports.
The 25-year-old biker, who shared videos of herself riding hands-free while wearing just a bra top and no protective jacket, appears to have lost control and collided with a car on one side before being hit by the truck on her other, according to local reports.
She was declared dead at the scene.
She appeared to make a chilling prediction hours before her death near Floridablanca, north of the capital Bogota.
“I hope I don’t crash because I’m driving without my glasses,” Ramirez posted to her 45,000 followers, as reported by NeedToKnow.
The cause of the fatal crash is still under investigation, transport official Jahir Andres Castellanos Prada said.
“The most likely hypothesis for the accident is that the motorcyclist was travelling between two vehicles, but this situation will be subject to an investigation,” Prada told Jam Press.
“The Prosecutor’s Office will proceed to clearly and precisely determine the cause of this fatal traffic accident, carry out the corresponding investigations, conduct the respective interviews with witnesses, analyze the CCTV footage, and determine if there was any type of responsibility on the part of the other drivers involved,” Prada added.
