The Knicks have time to think. Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t going anywhere just yet.
The Bucks’ two-time MVP is expected to be out for two to four weeks after suffering a right calf strain in Wednesday’s win against the Pistons.
Though Antetokounmpo hasn’t demanded a trade yet — he is reportedly “having conversations” with the Bucks about his future — his long-shot hopes of contending with the team that drafted him have become even more unlikely.
The Bucks (10-13), who currently hold the final play-in spot in the Eastern Conference, have gone 2-6 this season without their superstar, who has dragged a terrible supporting cast to a winning record (8-7) in games he’s started and finished.
