Experts dissecting ‘alien mummies’ from Peru make bizarre discovery — as legitimacy questions swirl

Experts have begun dissecting humanoid, three-fingered “alien mummies” found in Peru last year — uncovering what they say could be a metallic “alien implant” wedged onto the specimen’s hand, according to a report.

Dr. Jose Zalce Benitez, a Mexican Navy forensic doctor, removed the “light metal” implant from the specimen, referred to as the “Nazca Tridactyls” after the Peru region where they were believed to have been taken from, according to the Daily Mail.

Video shows the physician removing the apparent implant from the mummified three-fingered hand, revealing two of its metacarpal, or palm bones.

Experts found what they say could be an “alien implant” on a Nazca Tridactyls’ hand.

“It is a very complex metal alloy that requires special knowledge and techniques to be able to achieve it with such quality and purity,” Dr. Zalce told the outlet.

The expert said he identified elements including aluminum, tin, silver, copper, cadmium, and osmium in the metal implant.

“This tridactyl hand, from which I obtained the metal, does not belong to any of the bodies presented at the Mexican Congress,” Dr. Zalce told the outlet.

“This hand is part of a series of loose pieces that belong to the place where the tridactyl bodies of Peru were found,” he added.

The doctor’s investigation into the potentially extraterrestrial specimen dates back to his testimony before Mexico’s Congress last year, during which two supposed “non-human” alien corpses were presented.

The severed “tridactyl” hand closely resembles the hands presented on the specimens shown to Mexican politicians last year, however, the newer specimens are much smaller, drawing criticism and questions over their authenticity.

investigation
Various metals were found inside the speciman’s hand, according to the expert.

Dr. Flavio Estrada, a forensic archaeologist with Peru’s Institute for Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, concluded the most recent specimens were dolls “assembled with bones of animals from this planet, with modern synthetic glues,” he told the outlet.

“They’re not extraterrestrials,” he added. “It’s totally a made-up story.”

Joshua McDowell, a former Colorado prosecutor and current defense attorney who traveled to Peru last April to study the so-called “alien mummies,” told the outlet the recent findings are only superficially similar to the specimen presented before Mexican Congress.

These “mummies” are merely dressed-up, smaller imitations of the Nazca Tridactyls made by an artist looking to profit off the current craze, McDowell claimed.

“The artist that made them said as much,” he said. “There is a way to obtain definitive answers as to what these specimens are through genetic testing and additional forensic examination.”

He added: “It would mean a true collaborative effort with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, working with the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, to complete the studies legally, ethically and with respect to the cultural heritage of Peru.”
