Alix Earle’s family couldn’t help but laugh when her dad, Thomas “TJ” Earle, brought up Tom Brady.
The influencer and the retired quarterback had the internet buzzing after they were seen looking cozy together at a New Year’s Eve bash in St. Barts.
TJ appeared to give his stamp of approval on Tom — or at least the Fox Sports analyst’s style — in a TikTok video that showed his wife, Ashley Earle, wearing his oversized blazer on Saturday.
“I actually got that jacket because I saw Tom Brady wearing one like that,” TJ said of the blue velvet number.
“Are you joking?” Ashley asked, to which TJ replied, “I swear to God.”
Ashley, TJ and their daughter burst out laughing while in their New Jersey home.
“Are you serious?” Ashley said. “… You know what, honey, you just say the darnedest things. How ironic is that.”
She added that she wouldn’t being “cutting” out TJ’s comment before posting the video.
“The Tom Brady joke LOL,” someone wrote in the comments, to which Ashley replied, “This guy lol.”
When another TikTok user quipped, “Dadager went off script,” Ashley added, “I actually was speechless.”
Alix, 25, and Tom, 48, nearly broke the internet when videos of the the pair spending time together at a New Year’s Eve party in St. Bart’s made rounds on social media.
The future Hall of Famer and the “Dancing With The Stars” alum, who turned 25 last month, were seen talking closely and rubbing each other’s backs.
Brady and Earle, both single, have yet to address it.
“Rumor has it we’re still dancing … new friends, new memories, and new beginnings to start off the new year 🙂 words can’t describe how amazing this trip was,” Alix wrote in an Instagram post, which included photos from the holiday, on Saturday, the day Ashley posted the TikTok video.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model confirmed her split with Houston Texans return specialist Braxton Berrios after two years of dating in a tearful TikTok video on Dec. 13 amid reports that they had called it quits.
Alix, who is a native of New Jersey, cited long distance for the reason they broke up, adding that it was an amicable decision to go their separate ways.
Brady was linked to model Brooks Nader last summer.
The seven-time Super Bowl champ and his ex-wife, Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bündchen were together for 13 years before they finalized their divorce in October 2022.
She recently married her longtime boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, and they welcomed their first child together in February.
