There’s still some fight left in the New York Yankees.
On Tuesday, Oct. 29, Anthony Volpe and co. clawed their way to an impressive 11-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in game four of the 2024 World Series at Yankee Stadium.
“We just showed up today ready to play trying to get one,” manager Aaron Boone said in a post-game press conference. “…a lot of people getting in on the act was great.”
The series now sits at 3-1 going into game five at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Ace Gerrit Cole will start for the home club; taking the hill for the Dodgers is Jack Flaherty, which makes this a rematch of game one.
And if you want to be there to potentially witness baseball history live — no team that was down 3-0 has ever sent a World Series to six games — last-minute game five tickets are still available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on standing room only passes was $467 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Not bad considering just one day ago prices started at $584 before fees.
If you’d prefer a seat, tickets can be scooped up for as low as $546 before fees.
