The House Ethics Committee is meeting behind closed doors to reportedly discuss whether or not to release the report on their witch hunt investigation into Trump’s Attorney General Nominee, Matt Gaetz, as his Senate confirmation hearing looms.
This comes after Gaetz resigned from office last week and the Ethics Committee, chaired by Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS), lost jurisdiction before they planned to release the report on Friday. However, now they’re considering releasing the baseless report to interfere with Matt Gaetz’s nomination as Attorney General.
As The Gateway Pundit reported on Monday, a so-called hacker named “Altam Beezley” obtained the transcript of testimony from the lawfare Committee’s report on Matt Gaetz.
Some RINOs in the Senate, including John Cornyn of Texas, plan to use the Ethics Committee’s report against Gaetz and shoot him down at Attorney General.
The investigation originally stemmed from allegations that Rep. Gaetz had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl. The DOJ investigated the accusations but decided against pressing charges.
Gaetz was exonerated of all criminal accusations by the far-left Justice Department, which would obviously jump on the opportunity to accuse a conservative of any criminality.
Notably, the House Ethics Committee reopened the investigation in 2023 as Gaetz ramped up challenges to former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who was later ousted by Gaetz’s Motion to Vacate the chair.
Later, when Gaetz threatened to bring a Motion to Vacate against McCarthy in October 2023, McCarthy’s RINO allies began threatening to expel Gaetz based on the Committee’s investigation.
Gaetz has denied all allegations.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Gaetz fired off his “final response” to the Ethics Committee, telling them he will no longer participate in the “political payback exercise, devoid of adequate due process, riddled with leaks.”
The Gateway Pundit will provide updates on the Deep State’s political attack on Matt Gaetz.
