This performance will be a parade high pointe.

A pair of lovebird ballet dancers will take center stage at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday, to perform an original dance inspired by their own sweet affair.

Tiler Peck, 35, and Roman Mejia, 24, both principal dancers at the New York City Ballet, are making their parade debut — just two months after they celebrated their engagement.

“It just kind of felt like the stars sort of aligned this year,” Peck told The Post.

The couple had dreamed of performing in the annual celebration for years before they were asked to perform this year alongside singer Alex Warren, who will be serenading the crowd with his hit song, “Carry You Home.”

For Peck and Mejia, the song — which chronicles undying love and loyalty — couldn’t be a more perfect fit, making Peck’s task of crafting an original choreography somewhat of an easy task.

The couple met as dance partners six years ago, but their relationship blossomed into romance during the pandemic. Mejia popped the question in September, cementing their relationship.

“The lyrics are very sweet and about being there for someone no matter what and so it lends itself to how we feel about each other, yeah,” said Peck.

“I always let the music kind of lead the way for choreography and dance. And so really, we are just trying to tell this story that we are hearing in the lyrics, and hopefully, we bring that to life.”

Mejia added: “It’s always really nice to make something new together and experience something new. This is just really exciting for the two of us to be a part of the Macy’s Day Parade.”

The couple will walk ahead of the Kinder Float, which will be carrying Warren as he serenades the crowd with his lovestruck ballad.

The camera will pan to Peck and Mejia as they perform the original ballet number — showcasing their art to 28 million viewers watching along at home.

“Sometimes ballet is not very accessible and it’s nice to give people a little glimpse into us as humans as well as ballet dancers. Something a little more relatable, I think,” Peck said.

Other than serving as a celebration for their recent engagement, participating in this year’s parade has another layer of emotion for Peck, who lost her father nearly a year ago.

This year marks the family’s first Thanksgiving without him — meaning he is not only missing his daughter’s engagement but witnessing her achieve her dream of dancing in the parade.

“It was something my dad loved watching. We always watched together on Thanksgiving,” Peck reminisced.

“He just loved it so much. And I have such memories of him cooking the turkey while watching the Macy’s Day Parade, and me helping him butter the turkey. We always used to just sit down whenever somebody was dancing or singing and watch. So the thought that me and Roman are going to be doing it this year is very cool.”

The couple’s participation is a major get for the parade — both are among the youngest in the NYC Ballet corps history to achieve principal dancer status.

Mejia has numerous accolades under his belt and was a 2020 finalist for the Clive Barnes Award, while Peck was a main focus of the 2018 documentary movie “Ballet Now” and will be reprising the coveted roll of Dewdrop in this year’s “The Nutcracker” at Lincoln Center.

The couple — who boast a combined half a million social media followers — hope their original and modern ballet performance at the parade will bring the art to the masses.
