Wealthy elites are shelling out as much as half a million dollars to rent California mega-mansions ahead of Super Bowl 60 next month.
Last-minute renters are paying $250,000 to $500,000 for off-market swanky digs near Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara just to be close to the action, the San Francisco Standard reported.
“These homes are flying off the market,” Joe Piazza of Coldwell Banker told the Standard.
“We’re getting calls from Fortune 500 companies, Hollywood crews, anyone who wants privacy, amenities, and the wow factor — and they’re willing to pay.”
With hotels and Airbnbs booked months in advance, agents said the last-minute rush has pushed prices up even higher.

Homes that normally rent for tens of thousands a month are going for $10,000 to $15,000 a night during Super Bowl week, the report said.
Piazza already has three listings in Los Gatos and Saratoga. The sprawling, 12,000-square-foot estates feature sparkling pools, private sports courts, fountains and putting greens, plus vineyards and wine cellars, all with breathtaking views of the mountains and city lights and just a short drive from the stadium.
Some estates also allow small parties or cocktail hours, making them perfect for corporate events or celebrity gatherings, an agent told The Standard, adding that privacy and flexibility are just as important as square footage for these deep-pocketed renters.
For those still hunting, options are running out fast — and the few remaining properties close to Levi’s Stadium are commanding the highest premiums.
“Their whole week is literally plotted out,” Compass agent Darcy Elman told the Standard, referring to the ultra-wealthy visitors.
“They’ve already planned where they’ll stay, where they’ll party, and how close they want to be to the stadium.”
