Kim Kardashian revealed this week a fake internet post about her and Luka Doncic had a real effect on her.
While sitting down with her sister, Khloe, on the “Khloé In Wonder Land” podcast, Kardashian explained that a February 2025 tweet from famed parody account NBA Centel made her skin crawl.
The post made it appear that Kardashian had written a flirty Instagram comment to Doncic after he had been traded from Dallas to Los Angeles. It also made it look like Doncic had shut down her advances in a follow-up comment.
“Mine was so fake,” she said of the post. “And it looks like I’m hitting on this guy.
“I haven’t gone to a Laker game since.”
Kardashian later clarified that wasn’t the only reason she hasn’t seen the Crypto.com Arena hardwood in a while, but she nonetheless made it clear it had an impact on her.
She went on to say a meme that was created to fool people into thinking she said Kevin Durant was her dream NBA date also caught her attention.
“That’s absolutely just not true,” she said on the pod, “and I never said that.”
Both sisters agreed that the parody accounts and posts about them have reached “insane” levels.
The NBA world, meanwhile, seemed to get a good giggle out of it all, especially NBA Centel, which reposted Kardashian’s latest comments on its X account on Friday with multiple crying laughing emojis.
