DALLAS — Part of the Yankees’ Juan Soto fallback plan entails falling back to a familiar and talented reliever.

Brian Cashman & Co. struck a deal with Jonathan Loaisiga on Wednesday night, a source confirmed to The Post’s Jon Heyman, that will bring the seven-year Yankee back for at least an eighth year.

The Yankees won the bidding for Loaisiga, who was a popular target on the free-agent market (and notably generated interest from the Mets) before agreeing to a one-year deal that reportedly includes a club option for 2026.

The financials were not immediately clear, and Loaisiga still needs to pass his physical.

The 30-year-old has been dominant at times and merely solid at others during his Yankees career, in which he owns a 3.44 ERA.

But he has thrown just 21 ²/₃ innings over the past two seasons due to an injury streak.

His 2024 campaign lasted just four innings, placed on the injured list in April with what was originally called a right flexor strain and became an elbow surgery.

At the time, the Yankees stated he was expected back in 10-12 months.

He has appeared to be on track, a source saying he is throwing and expected to resume bullpen sessions next month.

Loaisiga becomes part of the Yankees’ Plan B after Soto chose the Mets.

He will rejoin a bullpen that will look different next season with Clay Holmes in Queens and Tommy Kahnle a free agent.

Loaisiga, a high-octane arm when right, could be a back-end reliever in a bullpen that figures to include Luke Weaver, Ian Hamilton, Jake Cousins and Mark Leiter Jr.
