Arizona police still have no suspects in the troubling disappearance of Nancy Guthrie as the frantic search entered a fourth day on Wednesday, as the local sheriff warned, “The clock is literally ticking.”

Online speculation swirled about whether there were possible suspects, but a Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson told The Post Wednesday morning, “At this time, no suspects have been identified.”

“Detectives continue to speak with anyone who may have had contact with Mrs. Guthrie. We are also awaiting additional forensic results,” the spokesperson said.

“We have been in close contact with the Guthrie family, and they continue to receive updates as the investigation progresses. At this point, there is no credible information indicating this was a targeted incident.”

The sheriff’s department later doubled down with a statement on social media, calling out what it described as the “irresponsible” sharing of unverified claims about potential suspects.

“At this point, investigators have not identified a suspect or person of interest in this case,” the department posted on X.

“While we appreciate the public’s concern, the sharing of unverified accusations or false information is irresponsible and does not assist the investigation,” the department scolded.

Later that morning, Nancy didn’t attend church, and a fellow worshipper became alarmed and called her family.

Nancy, who is described as sharp as a tack mentally but having limited mobility, relies on daily medication. Sheriff Chris Nanos has warned that her situation could be “fatal” within 24 hours.
