The Mavericks are officially blowing it all up, a year after they traded away Luka Doncic.
Dallas is shipping star forward Anthony Davis, along with Jaden Hardy, D’Angelo Russell and Dante Exum to the Wizards for Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III and five draft picks, ESPN.com reported.
Davis, who was the key piece in the Doncic trade, is currently out with a hand injury — though is expected back toward the end of the month.

it is unclear if the Wizards, who are 13-36, plan to move Davis again before Thursday’s trade deadline.
They previously acquired Trae Young from the Hawks, though he has yet to play for Washington as he deals with knee and quad injuries.
The shocking decision to trade Doncic for Davis has been ill-fated since the beginning with the fallout ultimately leading to the firing of GM Nico Harrison, who became public enemy No. 1 in Dallas.
The Mavericks did win the lottery in the offseason, which allowed them to select Duke star Cooper Flagg at No. 1 and give them a foundational piece to build around.
And now they have plenty of capital to further mold the roster, either through the draft or to make further trades ahead of the 3 pm ET deadline on Thursday.

Davis, 32, is a 10-time All-Star and won the 2020 championship with the Lakers alongside LeBron James.
When healthy, Davis remains one of the top big men in the NBA and has averaged 20 points and 11 rebounds in 20 games this season.
However, his career has constantly been derailed by his health. In his one calendar year in Dallas, he dealt with ab, calf, groin and now a hand injury.
ESPN reported that the Mavericks had also spoken to the Hawks and Raptors about a Davis trade before the Wizards deal came to fruition.
Davis could end up being the biggest name traded this season, but rumors continue to swirl around the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo.
