It wasn’t exactly a clean getaway.
A Florida inmate is facing a felony charge after allegedly slipping away from his duties at a county jail barbecue to have sex with a woman inside a porta-potty, according to reports.

Hartley Elliot Sanchez, a 35-year-old unsentenced inmate in the custody of the Indian River County Jail, was arrested and charged with prisoner escape after he allegedly wandered off from his assigned duties at the annual barbecue in Vero Beach on Wednesday, according to an arrest report obtained by CBS12.
Sanchez, a jail trustee, had been assigned to help serve food at the event when he allegedly left his post and walked behind a boat display near a row of portable toilets, the report said.
Surveillance video then captured the frisky inmate approaching two women in the area and speaking with them, documents alleged.
One of the women walked into a portable toilet, and moments later, Sanchez followed her inside — first appearing to check whether anyone was watching, the report added.
They pair later exited the portable toilet separately, investigators wrote.
When questioned by deputies, Sanchez allegedly admitted to having sex with the woman inside and even prompted authorities to “look at the video,” the report claimed.

Authorities later confirmed the woman was a former inmate after reviewing the footage and comparing it with booking photos, police said, according to the outlet.
Sanchez was subsequently charged with one count of prisoner escape or attempted escape under Florida Statute 944.40 — which states that stepping out of an assigned work area while in custody can count as an escape attempt.
He is currently being held without bond, authorities said.
