Driver detained after van plows through White House barricade

A driver has been detained after crashing a van through a White House barricade early Wednesday, cops said.

The van plowed through the security barricade at Connecticut Avenue and H Street, Northwest, just before 6:30 a.m., 7News reported.

No one was injured in the crash.

The driver was quickly apprehended but it wasn’t immediately clear if they had been charged.

The Metropolitan Police Department and Secret Service are still probing the incident.

The Post reached out to the Secret Service but didn’t hear back immediately.
