Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold got a Super Bowl ring and a wedding ring in the span of two months.
Darnold — who helped Seattle beat the New England Patriots, 29-13, in February’s big game — married fiancée Katie Hoofnagle on Friday.
Hoofnagle announced the news on her Instagram Story with a phot of her wedding ring captioned, “I have a husband now, btw.”
The wedding featured an who’s-who of NFL star with Josh Allen and wife Hailee Steinfeld, Christian McCaffrey and wife Olivia Culpo, as well as Seattle teammate Cooper Kupp and his wife Ann Marie, all in attendance, according to People.
Allen and Steinfeld attended just days after announcing the birth of a baby girl.
“Hailee and Josh were so sweet on the dance floor, clearly having a blast,” a source told People.
“People were politely congratulating them on their baby girl, and they were very kind.”
Darnold and Hoofnagle announced their engagement on social media last July. They included snapshots of the special moment, which took place near the beach in Dana Point, Calif.
The two-time Pro Bowler, 28, proposed to Hoofnagle with a stunning radiant-cut diamond ring set on a pavé band.
Hoofnagle showed off her diamond ring while supporting Darnold at Seahawks games throughout the 2025 season.
Upon sealing the Seahawks’ Super Bowl 2026 victory on Feb. 8, Darnold was overheard gushing about the couple’s wedding while on the field at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
“We’ve got about a month until the wedding,” Darnold said in a video shared Wednesday on the NFL’s Instagram account at the time. “I was just telling [NBC broadcaster] Maria Taylor, the one who interviewed me, I was like, ‘yeah, is it weird that I’m thinking about the wedding right now and that it’s in a month, and I’m like, frickin, I’m excited, but also just, it’s a lot, we got a lot to do. But, it’s exciting stuff.”
Darnold, who signed a three-year, $105 million deal with the Seahawks last March, was all smiles with Hoofnagle at the Seahawks’ Super Bowl parade in Seattle.
The University of South Carolina alum made her romance with Darnold Instagram official in April 2023.
