Social media has lit up over Laguna Beach’s Firefighter of the year, whose smoldering good looks have sparked an online frenzy.

Billy Senecal was named the department’s top fireman for 2025, recognized for his “exceptional dedication, professionalism, and the significant contributions he has made to the department over the past year,” according to an Instagram post announcing the award.

Snapshots of Senecal in uniform, battling a fire and cradling a puppy circulated widely after the post went up last week — with users flooding the comment section with thirsty attempts to get his attention.

“Billy, I’m on fire! Help!” one wrote.

The post even drew the attention of some well-known stars.

Influencer and podcaster Brianna Lapaglia—aka Brianna Chickenfry—commented: “Congrats Billy. I think my house is gonna be on fire tonight at 7:45pm if you can make it.”

Country-pop singer Dasha added: “Billy please come over my cat’s stuck in the tree.”

The post had racked up more than 140,000 likes and over 3,000 comments as of Wednesday afternoon.
