TAMPA — DJ LeMahieu’s injury woes continued in his first spring training game when he tweaked a calf muscle Saturday against the Astros, according to Aaron Boone.

LeMahieu has dealt with injuries to his feet and lower body throughout the last few years and was hoping to stay healthy in an attempt to compete for the starting third base job.
He was limited to 67 games a year ago and has two years and $30 million remaining on his contract.
Oswaldo Cabrera and Oswald Cabrera are also vying for the job at third.
