The career criminal who allegedly shot another man outside a Harlem deli – before responding cops opened fire on him – was charged with attempted murder early Monday, cops said.

Randy Negron, 32 – who is on parole after serving about 9 years in state prison for the exact same offense – was charged three days after he allegedly pumped a 22-year-old man with bullets on West 125th Street near Amsterdam Avenue Friday evening, police said.

As Negron allegedly ambushed the man around 6:20 p.m., a pair of plainclothes cops who happened to be driving by jumped out of their car and chased after him, authorities said.

Meanwhile, a second gunman — later identified as Yandel Ortiz, 18 — darted into the middle of the intersection and fired at the fleeing Negron, cops said.

An officer also opened fire, police said.

Negron was shot once, but it remained unclear Monday if he was struck by police or by Ortiz.

Ortiz was also arrested Monday and charged with attempted murder and assault, police said.

He has one previous arrest for allegedly robbing an 18-year-old male stranger of his iPhone at gunpoint, while hitting him in the forehead in Harlem last October, cops said. Another suspect pulled a knife on that victim, authorities said.

Both Negron and his alleged target were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where the accused gunman was listed in stable condition and the victim in serious but stable condition.

Negron, who was still hospitalized Monday, also faces raps for assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

His previous attempted murder conviction stemmed from a June 2015 shooting in the same neighborhood in which he opened fire at several people.
