LaVar Ball’s still got it.
A little over a year after having his right foot amputated, the Big Baller Brand founder showed he can still impress on the hardwood.
Ball — the father of LaMelo, Lonzo and Gelo Ball — was spotted repeatedly knocking down shots in a video renowned basketball trainer Lethal Shooter posted on his Instagram page on Monday.
LaVar could be seen in the footage being put through an intense workout, where he made basket after basket while talking a little trash to the famed coach.
LaVar, sporting a “greatness takes balls” shirt, black shorts and a prosthetic leg, proclaimed, “I don’t get tired” before he swore that making shots was “what I do.”

At the end of the clip, LaVar gave a little dance in celebration of all the good work he put in.
“LaVar Ball understands it now!” Lethal Shooter, aka Chris Matthews, wrote in a caption on the video. “Two hours of training, making no excuses!🔥🔥🔥🔥”

Prior to having his foot removed in early 2025 due to a battle with diabetes, LaVar was a terrific athlete. A college basketball player who had a cup of coffee in the NFL, the 58-year-old actually once alleged he “would kill Michael Jordan” in a game of one-on-one.
While things have certainly changed since he made that declaration, it’s at least clear his work ethic hasn’t gone anywhere.
