The Arizona Cardinals had a pretty miserable season in 2025, but things are looking up, right? Not according to the sports betting market.
The Cardinals have the shortest odds (+250 at bet365) to have the worst record in the NFL this season and likely select No. 1 overall in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Their Over/Under is listed at 4.5 wins with the juice on the under at -145 odds.
The Dolphins are the only other team with a win total that low. The Cardinals are also massive underdogs to make the NFL playoffs at 18/1 odds. The odds for them to miss are -15000.
The Cardinals won just three games last season and finished 23rd on offense and 29th on defense. The offseason saw significant changes as well.
Arizona moved on from quarterback Kyler Murray, who was waived because no team wanted to take on the massive contract of the former No. 1 overall pick.
Jacoby Brissett is expected to be the starting quarterback to start the season in Arizona.
The Cardinals also swapped coaches in the offseason, dumping Jonathan Gannon for Los Angeles Rams coordinator Mike LaFleur.
The Cardinals did make some splashy picks in this year’s draft.
Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love was picked with the No. 3 overall pick, the highest draft spot for a running back since Saquon Barkley was picked second overall in 2018.
They also selected Chase Bisontis, the second-rated offensive guard in ESPN’s rankings, in Round 2 and quarterback Carson Beck, fresh off a national championship run with Miami.
Being at the bottom might not be the worst situation in the world for the Cardinals.

The latest 2027 NFL Draft odds have quarterback Arch Manning (+170) as the favorite to be the top pick, with QBs Oregon Dante Moore (+450) and C.J. Carr (+650) trailing just behind him.
Bottoming out for the second season in a row would be brutal after a three-win season, but it could land the Cardinals their franchise signal caller.
