Liberal Analyst Points Out That Democrats Have a Much Bigger Problem Than Lousy Fundraising Heading Into 2026 and 2028 (VIDEO)

Amy Walter is a liberal political analyst you may have seen if you’ve ever tuned into PBS. She was a pretty regular contributor on FOX News for a while as well.

During some recent comments, Walter noted that the Democratic National Committee (DNC), is having a really hard time raising money but pointed out that they have an even bigger problem heading into the 2026 and 2028 elections.

Walter says that the main power the DNC has is setting primary dates, picking which states go first, and who gets party nominations. If the far left radicals think the DNC is not playing honest and doesn’t trust the decisions that are being made, this is a recipe for disaster for the Democrats.

Can’t you see where this is headed? Imagine a scenario where the base of the Democrat party wants AOC or someone like her and the party nominates Kamala Harris again. Something like this could totally happen, and it could completely fracture the left.

The financial throw weight of the party is not what it used to be back when I started doing this. They were everything. Now you have super PACs and billionaires that can fill that void.

What the DNC and the RNC can do, though, that makes them very important, they set up the rules for how you get nominated to be your party’s person to to to take the presidency. They set the dates for when we have primaries in which states go first, and they have the rules about the delegates.

If voters within the Democratic sphere and the activists in that Democratic sphere don’t trust the DNC to do this well, that is very dangerous going into 2028 — if people within the Democratic Party are fighting amongst themselves about how the process works.”

In case you haven’t noticed, the radical left doesn’t behave very well when they don’t get their way.

That’s what Walter is sounding the alarm on here, and it’s a very good point.
