The Los Angeles Rams are going all in — again.
In a stunning blockbuster, the Rams are finalizing a trade for Browns superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett, sending two-time Pro Bowl defender Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-rounder and 2029 third-rounder to Cleveland, according to NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Garrett arrives in Los Angeles off a historic season, resetting the NFL record book with 23 sacks, 79 pressures, 39 quarterback hits, and 33 tackles for loss, further cementing his status as football’s premier pass rusher.
In return, Cleveland acquires Verse, a younger and highly promising counterpart who posted 7.5 sacks and 77 pressures across his first two seasons. While his sack production lags behind Garrett’s, his disruption metrics, particularly pressures and hurries, show a player already performing at a high level.
The move echoes the Rams’ aggressive 2021 blockbuster trades, which included Matthew Stafford, Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr.
With Super Bowl LXI returning to SoFi Stadium, Los Angeles is once again leaning into its “F–k them picks” reputation heading into a season where the team is aready seen as a championship favorite.
Garrett will transform a Rams defense already featuring the young pass rush talent, Byron Young, giving them arguably the most fearsome edge presence in the NFL.
This move proves that 2026 is about one thing for the Los Angeles Rams: pulling out all the stops to bring home the Lombardi trophy.
