MSG’s Knicks watch party returns for NBA Finals games, weeks after NYC yanked permits

It’s game on for New York Knicks fans.

Madison Square Garden’s Knicks watch party is back on for the start of the NBA Finals — weeks after the city pulled permits over concerns of unruly fan behavior.

Hordes of blue and orange fanatics are allowed to root for the hometown team outside the Garden Wednesday night as the Knicks take on the San Antonio Spurs on the road, according to Garden officials.

The permit issued by the city is only for Game 1, an MSG spokesperson confirmed.

It was not immediately known if permits would be issued for other games in the highly anticipated series.

The Big Apple is buzzing with excitement over the Knicks dominating playoff run, reaching the Finals for the first time since 1999.

The first two games are on the road in second-rate city San Antonio before the Knicks return home for Game 3 and Game 4 next Monday and Wednesday.
