‘Miracle’ child ejected from truck in horror collision walks away with minor injuries: video

Horrific video captured the moment a young boy was ejected from a truck that smashed into a Georgia police cruiser – with cops calling his survival and minor injuries a miracle.

The youngster is seen in the Dashcam footage flying through the passenger window of a black pickup during the three-vehicle crash, his body slamming into the hood of a Gwinnett County cop car before hitting the ground.

“Are you okay?” one officer frantically asked the wailing child from the window after the smash-up.

The officer then jumped out of the cruiser, grabbed the panicked boy who was standing near the wrecked truck trying to get back inside, and placed him in the police vehicle, video showed.

The calmed boy later said “thank you” to the officer and replied “yeah, yeah,” when asked if he was okay.

Authorities said the child miraculously walked away from the crash with only minor scratches.

“This video is nothing short of a miracle,” Gwinnett County Police said in a Facebook post Wednesday.

“We understand that no one enjoys being pulled over, but this is a perfect example of why officers do what we do. Seat belts and child safety seats are incredibly important, especially for our youngest passengers.

“In this crash, a child was ejected from the vehicle and, amazingly, walked away with only a few minor scratches. This video serves as a reminder that traffic enforcement is not just about writing citations. It’s about preventing tragedies and keeping our community safe.”
