New Hampshire cops are hunting for a purse thief who looks remarkably like Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce — while warning that his “good looks” won’t stop him from facing justice.
“THIS GUY allegedly stole a purse out of *someone else’s* vehicle and then decided that the credit cards in that purse were now his to use all Willy nilly,” Salem police said Wednesday, sharing a picture of the bucket-hat-wearing, bearded suspect leaving a Best Buy.
“GUESS WHAT PAL, you may look like Travis Kelce, TE for the Kansas City Chiefs and, possibly his more well-known claim to fame, current fiancé of Taylor Swift, but your good looks and cool sty (kids call it “sty” I think.) can’t get you outta this one!” the department said.
“(Are we sure this isn’t Travis, actually? Anyone know where he’s been? Have times been tough? I mean I know the Chiefs missed the playoffs….)” the department joked, before adding: “Na, it can’t be. He’s a Swifty. He wouldn’t do this.”
Cops rounded off their jibe with “Go Pats” – a nod to the New England Patriots, which have won the Super Bowl six times, more than the Chiefs.
Meanwhile, the real Travis Kelce is gearing up to marry the “Love Story” singer. Last week, he and his pals went to Los Angeles’ ritzy Bird Streets Club,
Speculation is mounting that the couple will be getting hitched in Madison Square Garden in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, but Kelce has been tight-lipped on their nuptials.
