California Highway Police officers responded to a disturbance call west of Grand Avenue around 3 a.m. and spotted a vehicle driving erratically, according to KTLA. Officers reached a Fuel Club gas station at 110 Arrow Highway in Covina, where the shooting occurred.

Video footage from the scene showed several shell casings on the ground. Law enforcement discovered a gun, a magazine, and other bullet casings, according to KNN.

No officers were injured. The utility vehicle driver did sustain injuries, and medical personnel transported the suspect to a local hospital.

KTLA traffic reporter Ginger Chan recommended drivers take the 10 Freeway instead of the 210.

It’s unclear when the freeway lanes will reopen.
