Savannah Guthrie reveals ‘unending trauma’ after 5 months of desperately searching for Nancy: ‘Bring her home’

“Today” host Savannah Guthrie said her family has been enduring “unending trauma” since her elderly mother, Nancy Guthrie, was abducted from her home — with no arrests made months later.

“It is five months of agony and unending trauma for our family. There is not a moment that goes by that we aren’t actively trying to find our mom,” Savannah Guthrie, 54, told Arizona outlet KOLD in a statement on Wednesday.

“We thank the people of Tucson for holding her in their hearts, as well as both the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office for their tireless work on behalf of our family,” she said. “Bring her home.”

Nancy Guthrie, an 84-year-old grandmother, was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home in the early morning hours of Feb. 1.

She has not been seen or heard from since.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been publicly identified despite five months of investigations from the Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.

Authorities released chilling footage days after she vanished that showed a masked, gun-toting man on Guthrie’s porch staring straight into the security camera lens.

Last month, Savannah Guthrie broke down in tears live on air after reports revealed that a ransom note believed to be sent by her mom’s kidnappers claimed she had died.

“I don’t have any comment on this story and I’m not involved in our coverage, but I can’t pretend I’m not here,” Guthrie said from behind the desk of the NBC program.

“And so since I am I wanted to just take the opportunity to ask people — to really to beg people — to come forward. Somebody knows something,” she said.

The FBI on Wednesday denied a report that it has ruled out all ransom notes — but acknowledged that many of them turned out to be dead ends.

“The FBI and its task force partners have received several ransom notes over the course of this investigation. Some have been deemed to be extortion attempts without legitimacy,” the FBI’s Phoenix field office said.

“Other ransom demands may potentially be legitimate and are still being investigated as such.”
