Deranged man holds possible gun to his head during intense MacArthur Park standoff

An unhinged, possibly armed, man is locked in a standoff with LAPD in MacArthur Park after barricading inside a bathroom.

The individual appeared to hold a firearm to his head as dozens of officers rushed to the scene and formed a perimeter.

The deranged man first allegedly pointed the alleged weapon at a bystander who called 911, LAPD told The California Post.

The man is now holed up in a restroom at the infamous park, known for rampant drug use and criminal activity.
