Travelers using the terminal, which would be located 6 miles from the main airport, will have access to luxury lounges and private guest suites for relaxing before jetting off. The terminal will have its own TSA screening areas, as well as wanky “multi-party salon spaces,” the documents show.

The proposed site covers 34,582 square feet on North Access Road could start operations as soon as 2028, according to reports.

“I would say that, you know, the Jeff Bezos of the world, they already have their own aircraft. They already have a process in place. They don’t need a product like this,” airport spokesperson Doug Yakel told ABC .

“This is more for people that don’t have their own airplane that still fly commercial but want to pay for an elevated experience. That’s really the niche we’re trying to hit here,”

Airport officials said that passengers will need to pay $800-$1800 for the luxury experience. SFO

Yakel said that visitors will have to shell out anywhere from $800 to $1,800 to use the terminal, in line with what other airports currently charge for similar a experience.

When it comes time to fly, passengers will be whisked away in private cars that drive them along the tarmac directly to their aircraft. They will also have their luxury cars waiting in the 13,415-square-foot parking lot, located just across the street from the terminal, according to the SF City Partner website.

The expansion comes as the aiarport existing terminals are also adding new amenties. United, the airport’s biggest carrier, is building its largest West Coast lounge there, according the San Francisco Chronicle.
