Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem lead star-studded crowd at Spain-Belgium World Cup quarterfinal

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — The stars came out for the last game of Los Angeles’ 2026 World Cup run between Spain and Belgium on Friday afternoon. 

Hollywood heavyweights settled into their luxury suites for the quarterfinal showdown between two European heavyweights. 

Leading Spain’s star-studded contingent were Oscar-winning couple Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem, who turned the match into a family affair by bringing along friends, including Brad Pitt. 

The Academy Award winner raised a few eyebrows by arriving in a Team USA shirt despite the Americans being eliminated from the tournament by Belgium.

Sitting beside him was girlfriend Ines de Ramon, whose Spanish family roots made her allegiance far less complicated.

Bardem and Cruz also hosted Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, who proudly represented England’s football faithful.

The celebrity couple has followed Spain throughout the tournament and previously hosted Spanish music superstar Rosalia in their suite when Spain played Austria in the Round of 32. 

Belgium countered with its own VIP delegation led by King Philippe and Royal Belgian Football Association chair Pascale van Damme.

The celebrity sightings hardly stopped there.

Internet sensation IShowSpeed bounced around the stadium, soaking in every moment. Singer Tate McRae and actress Issa Rae also drew plenty of attention from fans.

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand made the rounds greeting familiar faces.

Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin was also among the notable guests.

The Rams newest superstar, two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year winner Myles Garrett was there alongside his gold medal winning girlfriend Chloe Kim and Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson.

It has become one of the defining storylines of this World Cup. From Tom Cruise and David Beckham to Patrick Mahomes, Shakira, Will Ferrell, Sabrina Carpenter, Kim Kardashian and dozens of other household names, celebrities have packed stadiums from coast to coast throughout the tournament.

Friday’s finale in Los Angeles felt like the perfect curtain call.
