Linda Noskova beats Karolina Muchova in thriller to take Wimbledon crown

In the all-Czech Wimbledon women’s final, it was Linda Nosková who reigned supreme.

Nosková beat Karolína Muchová 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 in three sets to take the crown on Centre Court.

Nosková, who had never gotten past a quarterfinal in a singles tournament before this run, won her first Grand Slam.

Muchová made a furious rally to take the second set, but Nosková held firm and closed the deal in the final frame.
