Family checks into Airbnb for the first time. Then find pictures of themselves on the wall: ‘Spiraling’

A family’s stay at a San Diego Airbnb took a surreal turn after they walked inside and discovered a framed photo on the wall showing themselves playing on a beach a decade earlier.

The bizarre coincidence was shared in a viral video, in which two sisters explained they spotted the photograph hanging inside the vacation rental and quickly realized it featured their own family from about 10 years ago.

After taking a closer look, they confirmed it really was them by matching their faces and even the bathing suits they had been wearing during the beach outing.

The unexpected discovery left the family in disbelief, with one of the sisters admitting they were “spiraling” at the odds of stumbling upon a picture of themselves in a home they had never visited before.

The family said it was their first time checking into the Airbnb, making the coincidence even more astonishing.

The clip has since sparked amazement online, with viewers calling the discovery “insane” and pointing out just how extraordinarily unlikely it would be for a family to unknowingly rent a property displaying a photo of themselves taken years earlier.

Some viewers chimed in with tales of similar eerie coincidences, while another jokingly blamed CERN for the mind-bending twist.

Though the family never learned how the photograph found its way into the home, they were certain it was genuine, recognizing each family member and the swimsuits from that now-unforgettable day.
