A magnitude-4.1 earthquake struck Kern County on Monday morning that was felt across parts of the Los Angeles area.
The tremor hit at 9:40 a.m. near the community of Johannesburg, roughly 120 miles east of Bakersfield, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Residents in Burbank, Pasadena, Valencia, Santa Clarita, and several neighborhoods in Los Angeles reported feeling the quake on the USGS “Did You Feel It?” page.


There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
It comes just a day after a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck ner Frazier Park California on Sunday morning.
