There’s a new broadcasting deal in the combat sports world.

Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) is joining forces with TikTok to bring a championship boxing event to the social media platform, as fans will be able to watch Amanda Serrano vs. Lucrecia Manzur on the app, The Post has learned.

The entire event will be broadcast on TikTok, which boasts two billion global users, and will take place in Temecula, Calif., on August 21.

MVP has notably boasted broadcast deals with Netflix for its bigger boxing fights, while also having some bouts on ESPN.

This is a single-card deal for now, but it could expand with strong results.

All six fights will be live on TikTok, beginning with Jocelyn Camarillo vs. Ashley Felix, followed by Nelvie Tiafack vs. Salvador Zavala, Roxy Verduzco vs. Miguelina Hernandez, Jully Poca vs. Cinderella Linnear, and Jahmal Harvey vs. Hammet Keb.

The new take on broadcasting of combat sports is notable, as no other sports product has really tried to use social media exclusively as a real way to watch live sports.

The closest thing to this in combat sports in the US is YouTube with Dana White’s Power Slap, while Asian MMA promotion ONE Championship was also aggressive in using YouTube as its main streaming outlet.

“From day one, MVP has challenged the traditional boxing model by creating the biggest moments and opportunities for fighters while finding new ways to bring the sport to fans around the world,” Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of MVP, said in a statement.

Paul has 28 million followers on Instagram and 19.7 million on TikTok, and is one of the most well-known entities in the social media world.
