US Central Command announced the completion of its seventh consecutive night of strikes against Iranian military sites on Friday evening.

Following the roughly six and a half hours of attacks, CENTCOM said in a press release:

U.S. forces ended the seventh consecutive night of strikes against Iran on July 17 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) hit surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities. U.S. forces employed fighter aircraft, aerial drones, and warships in addition to other assets.

CENTCOM continues to hold Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief’s direction while fully enforcing a naval blockade against Iranian ports.

More than 50,000 American service members are operating across the Middle East and remain vigilant, lethal, and ready.

Meanwhile, Iran has retaliated by attacking Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Oman.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, multiple US servicemembers were injured this week in Iranian attacks on two Jordanian bases.

Several US Troops Injured in Iranian Attacks on Two Jordanian Bases: Report

Iran is now being accused of war crimes after targeting civilian infrastructure, after hitting a water desalination plant in Kuwait last night.

Per CBS:

Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the secretary general of the Gulf Cooperation Council, has condemned Iranian attacks on members of the group, referring to them as “war crimes.”

“Iran’s actions constitute a highly dangerous escalation, a grave violation of international law and the United Nations (UN) Charter, as well as war crimes requiring international accountability and prosecution, given the deliberate targeting of infrastructure and civilian facilities in flagrant violation of all international norms and conventions, and a persistent determination to destabilise regional security and stability,” Albudaiwi said in a statement Saturday.

The GCC is comprised of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. All six countries are allies of the U.S., with Secretary of State Marco Rubio attending a meeting of the countries several weeks ago.

Iran has targeted all six countries at various times throughout the war in retaliation for strikes by the U.S. and Israel. Kuwait, especially, came under strong fire from Iran overnight. Albudaiwi offered his support to Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan, which came under attack overnight, while “expressing his wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured individuals in the State of Kuwait.”
