Rapper Kid Cudi revealed Sean “Diddy” Combs broke into his house because the mogul was jealous over his relationship with Cassie Ventura, jurors learned Thursday.
Cudi — whose real name is Scott Mescudi — recounted a wild 2011 confrontation with the Bad Boy Records founder that erupted after a frightened Ventura called him to say Combs “found out about us.”
The call led to the discovery that Combs was inside his house, Mescudi testified in Manhattan federal court.
“Motherf–ker, you in my house?” Mescudi recounted telling Combs by phone as he drove from a hotel back to his house.
“What’s up?” Combs calmly responded, according to Mescudi. “I just want to talk to you.”
“I’m on my way over right now,” Mescudi recounted replying to Combs.
But when Mescudi arrived at his home on Hollywood Hills Road, no one was there.
The surreal account came as prosecutors tried to marshal more evidence in their racketeering case against Combs.
Ventura had previously testified that Combs was jealous of her brief relationship with Mescudi, a renowned rapper and actor who has starred in films such as “Bill & Ted Face the Music.”
Mescudi testified that he started dating Ventura, an R&B singer who was Combs’ on-and-off again girlfriend, in 2011 because he believed her relationship with the producer was over.
But he said a distraught Ventura called him early one December 2011 morning to tell him that she had given Combs his address.

Mescudi said Ventura told him she “didn’t know what Sean Combs would do,” so they went to the Sunset Marquee Hotel in Los Angeles.
From there, Mescudi rushed back to his house, anticipating a face-to-face confrontation with Combs.
But Combs wasn’t there when Mescudi arrived, he testified.
The security cameras were turned away from the front door, some things had been moved around and his “jittery” dog was locked in the bathroom, Mescudi said.
“Some gifts I bought for my family were opened, some things I got from Chanel, and my dog was locked up in my bathroom,” Mescudi said.
He said he called Combs again, and the hip-hop mogul once again sounded “calm.”
“I got in the car and that’s when I called Sean Combs. I was looking for him. I wanted to confront him, I wanted to fight him, you know?” Mescudi said.
He planned to go meet Combs, but instead decided to call the police.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and other crimes.
He faces up to life in prison if convicted.
