Federal officials launched a drug raid on a home in central Los Angeles Tuesday morning, detaining at least one person.

“We can confirm that personnel from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Los Angeles Field Division conducted a drug enforcement operation on 400 block of S. Wilton Place in Los Angeles, this morning,” the agency said in a statement to ABC 7. “As this is an ongoing investigation, DEA will not be providing additional information at this time.”

At least 15 DEA agents in tactical gear and wielding military weaponry could be seen at the scene, which took place at a multi-story residence near the intersection of Wilton Place and Fourth Street.

Several vehicles, including an armored truck, were also seen on the street. It’s not clear what the agents served the search warrant for.

The home was located near the border of Mid-Wilshire and Koreatown in a middle-class area.

DEA agents and LAPD officers swarmed the grounds of drug-riddled MacArthur Park last month in an attempt to clean up the area.
