Four months after they were drafted, the Jets rookie class is preparing for its first season.
Just how much will the Jets count on these rookies this year?
Well, it looks clear that they will have two rookie starters with Armand Membou at right tackle and Mason Taylor at tight end. After that, it looks like the rest will be role players and special teams contributors.
The Jets wrapped up training camp Wednesday and will close out the preseason against the Eagles on Friday night at MetLife Stadium. It will be the last chance for the rookies to leave an impression on coach Aaron Glenn, his staff and the front office before roster decisions are made this week and they turn their attention to the regular season.
