Training camp began for the Giants on Wednesday, and with it, so too did another year of hopes and buzz for a team that has made just two trips to the playoffs in the 14 seasons since their last Super Bowl triumph.
This time is different, in multiple ways.
Instead of hosting training camp in East Rutherford — as the Quest Diagnostics Training Center undergoes renovations — the team will be situated at The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia.
It’s many miles away from the team’s typical digs. And Giants brass will hope there is a similar departure from the team’s recent struggles now that John Harbaugh is in charge.
