Victim identified in Chino Hills kidnapping and execution as link to suspect is revealed

The victim in the horrific Chino Hills murder-kidnapping has been revealed — and he has a chilling link to his killer.

Officials with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said 67-year-old Zhengfeng Bo is the suspect who executed 60-year-old Chino Hills resident Shukur Aikebaer in front of police after he kidnapped him.

Irvine resident Zhengfeng, who police shot dead after he killed Aikebaer, had an accomplice, 66-year-old Jianquan Bo, also from Irvine.

The 67-year-old Zhengfeng apparently knew Aikebaer “through a prior working relationship,” police revealed.

The Post obtained shocking footage that revealed the ominous moments before the suspects kidnapped Aikebaer in the late-night hours on July 29. It showed the suspects’ vehicle rolling down a residential street before pulling into Aikebaer’s driveway.

The men would go on to cut the power to Aikebaer’s residence, leading him to investigate the power box.

Zhengfeng and Jianquan then shot and kidnapped the 60-year-old man. A 911 caller told police they heard gunshots and screaming.

Police initiated a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle, and they led police on a short chase that ended just mere miles away from Aikebaer’s residence.

More stunning moments were caught on surveillance footage then as the tense standoff between the police and the suspects began. Police at that time were unaware of the kidnapping.

A passenger, Jianquan, got out with his hands up towards the deputies and prepared to surrender.

But the driver acted strangely, remaining in his seat before opening and closing his door before letting the vehicle roll slightly. He then got out with his hands raised before changing his mind and going back into the car to retrieve something.
