The Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday morning advanced Todd Blanche’s nomination for Attorney General in a 12-10 vote.
The Committee advanced Blanche after RINO Senators Tillis and Cornyn backed down and came to an agreement over the weaponization fund.
The full confirmation vote to make Blanche permanent AG could happen this week.

Late Sunday night Todd Blanche rescinded the $1.8 billion weaponization fund.
“My team and I have met with committee members and Senators over the past several weeks and addressed any concerns or outstanding questions,” Blanche said on X.
“We have enjoyed good faith discussions, and as a result issue the following order and update with regard to the May IRS settlement,” Blanche said.
“The Department always welcomes and appreciates productive engagement with all members of Congress,” Blanche said on Sunday night.

President Trump lashed out at Cornyn and said he may temporarily withdraw Todd Blanche’s nomination until Senators Cornyn and Tillis leave office.
“John Cornyn never had a problem with the so called “Fund,” which will not benefit me, but rather the great American Patriots who were hunted down like dogs and whose lives were unfairly and illegally destroyed by the Crooked Joe Biden Administration, until after I decided to Endorse and Support his Republican Primary opponent in Texas, who easily won the Nomination for the United States Senate,” Trump said last week.
“Todd Blanche, a good man, should be immediately approved as U.S. Attorney General. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump said.
Cornyn defended his decision to vote for Blanche.
“As to the idea it could be revived in the future, I think it’s highly unlikely that could happen without the cooperation of the DOJ. And I think Mr Blanche gave us the assurances that it was dead and would not be revived and in this case we have no alternative but to take his word,” Cornyn told reporters after he voted to advance Blanche.
