An 8-month-old baby was among three people killed when a 16-year-old gunman opened fire during an argument at a carnival in Utah, according to cops.
The baby and a 41-year-old woman were both innocent bystanders caught up when the young teen opened fire after a “verbal altercation” at WestFest in West Valley City late Sunday, local police said.
An 18-year-old boy involved in the fight was also shot and killer, police said — while a pregnant woman was injured trying to climb a fence to escape the gunfire. Two teens — a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy — were also struck in the arm.

None of those involved had been identified, and it is unclear if the baby’s parents were among those hit.
The 16-year-old suspected shooter — who has not been identified because of his age — was immediately taken into custody, according to police, who had been trying to break up the fight when the fatal shots were fired..
A TikTok video showed multiple cops pinning a young boy to the ground as carnival lights blared and screams erupted.

“You shot a f–king baby,” one man said in the footage.

The shooting occurred on the final day of the annual WestFest carnival, which celebrates locals and cultural diversity in the suburban area south of Salt Lake City, according to the carnival’s website.
The shooting is still under investigation.
