Parents tear Six Flags apart after deadly ride left daughter in coma: ‘Never ever in a million years’

Devastated California parents are ripping into Six Flags after a notorious rollercoaster left their young daughter fighting for her life in a coma.

Naomi Greer-Wilkinson, 25, was at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia with her twin brother and younger sister when she boarded the infamous X2 rollercoaster and lost consciousness in July.

“Naomi should have never ever in a million years even had the option to get on that ride,” Greer-Wilkinson’s mother told CNN.

Whoever decided to keep X2 operational last month has “a lot to answer for,” said the victim’s father. “It’s got to stop.”

After losing consciousness, the 25-year-old was rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery and her parents were told by doctors that she had suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.

Greer-Wilkinson, who continues to remain in critical condition in a coma, has been hooked to be a ventilator and feeding tube to keep her alive.

“This is the hardest thing a human being could go through. This is cruel,” her mother added.

Greer-Wilkinson’s accident comes after two deaths and numerous injuries have been reported over the past 24 years related to X2.

Just six days before Greer-Wilkinson’s incident, a Hawaiian resident repeatedly struck her head against the headrest as the ride reached up to nearly 80 miles per hour according to CNN.

The rollercoaster – which rotates 360 degrees – then made her throw up and lose consciousness.

After being rushed to the hospital, she required surgery to remove part of her skill to reduce brain swelling and didn’t fully regain consciousness for nearly two weeks.

In June 2022, a 22-year-old Christopher Hawley died from a traumatic brain injury after losing consciousness from X2 and in 2010, a woman named Hilda Farias also died after riding the rollercoaster.

The infamous Six Flags rollercoaster has been shut down since July 12 and the amusement park had “no further comments” when asked by The Post about the two deaths.
