Beverly Hills horror as man stabbed to death on ritzy block

A deadly stabbing erupted in swanky Beverly Hills late Sunday night, leaving one man dead and another injured as detectives scramble to piece together what sparked the bloody alleyway confrontation.

Cops received a report of an altercation involving two men at about 11:39 p.m. Sunday in the alley of the 400 block of North Palm Drive — where homes sell for $2 million or more, per Zillow.

Officers rushed to the scene and found a man suffering from a serious stab wound to his neck.

Police immediately rendered aid before Beverly Hills Fire Department paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital. Despite the efforts to save him, he later died from his injuries.

The other man involved in the confrontation, who is a Beverly Hills resident, was also injured during the incident and taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation.

The circumstances surrounding the violent encounter remained unclear Monday as Beverly Hills detectives continued their investigation.

Police have not publicly identified either man or disclosed what led to the altercation.

Despite the shocking bloodshed in the normally glitzy community, investigators believe the incident was isolated and said there are no other parties involved.

“Our officers responded quickly to this incident and immediately rendered aid to both individuals,” Beverly Hills Police Chief Max Subin said. “Our detectives are conducting a thorough and diligent investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.”

Detectives are now working to determine exactly what happened between the two men and what led to the fatal neck wound.
