Top prosecutor mum on whether he’ll retry Lindsay Clancy for murder after mistrial

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said outside the courthouse that his office has not yet decided whether to retry Lindsay Clancy with murder for strangling her daughter and two sons in 2023.

“No decisions will be made today,” Cruz told reporters about the main question on everyone’s minds.

That determination will be made in forthcoming court proceedings, the top prosecutor said.

“This was an emotional trial for everybody — the Duxbury community, members of media,” Cruz acknowledged. “I bring it all back to the child victims in this case… this was and has always been about getting justice for those three little babies.
