An earthquake struck in Contra Costa County early Saturday morning.
The 3.4-magnitude quake hit about 5.5 miles southwest of Brentwood around 12:30 a.m., according to the US Geological Survey.
The tremor was recorded about 11 miles deep.

Residents from as far away as Pleasanton and Pittsburg reported feeling the quake, KRON 4 reported.
No injuries or damages have been reported.
