At least 58 women have been identified in videos recorded by notorious Philadelphia pornographer Raymond “R.C.” Horsch, cops revealed — and at least seven have vanished without a trace, with fears they may be been murdered and their bodies dissolved in vats of acid.
The FBI and other law enforcement said Wednesday they were stepping up their investigation into the alleged Horsch — who died in May 2025 at age 82 — following a series of disturbing discoveries at his home in Olney, including clips of women who were unconscious or dead.
The renewed investigation stems from the arrest of his son Eugene on unrelated charged three months ago.
Authorities have found multiple alleged snuff movies featuring R.C. and several missing women, along with vats of mysterious chemicals, and writings referencing serial killers.
Of the 58 women identified in the chilling footage, at least five are feared dead, while two more haven’t been seen in years, CBS News reported.
One disturbing new video shows a woman using narcotics and receiving money from R.C. before he handcuffs her to a bed, Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore said at a press conference Wednesday.
R.C. then puts a zip tie around the woman’s neck until she becomes unconscious, he added.
The two women in the newly uncovered videos appeared to be either dead or unconscious, police said.
“They’re in the video. Both are not wearing clothing, there’s two separate cameras, one he’s controlling and one is that is afixed somewhere in the bedroom where they’re at,” Vanore said of the two unidentified women.
“Both of the videos were obtained by us. We have them all,” he added.
Neither has been publicly identified by police, but they bring the total of possible deaths linked to the home to five, including Gabrielle Amarando, Maribell Fresses, and Nicole Fusaro.
Two more women with connections to R.C. — Blair Tonzelli and his ex-wife Amy McHale — are still considered missing.
R.C., a self-described “sociopath,” openly described how he targeted women addicted to drugs in Philadelphia’s infamous Kensington neighborhood, luring them back to his home where he would film pornographic movies.
He also publicly boasted on podcasts and in his own books about being a serial killer.
R.C. was living in the Olney house until his death in 2025, but his activities have resurfaced following the arrest of his son, Eugene, in June.
Eugene, 44, was arrested in Center City, Philadelphia, on charges of gun possession as a convicted felon, having guns without serial numbers, and possessing fraudulent DEA IDs.
A woman in the car with Eugene at the time was holding an ID belonging to one of the missing women, Blair Tonzelli.
That led authorities to search the house in Olney and discover more than 600,000 images, 70,000 videos, and 10,000 pages of texts, drawings, and manuscripts, many featuring references to serial killers such as Ted Bundy, and methods of disposing of bodies.
No human remains have yet been uncovered, but investigators did turn up industrial vats filled with a mysterious liquid, over 20 containers of an oily substance, and a 55-gallon drum connected to water lines in the basement.
Fake DEA and FBI badges, fraudulent IDs, narcotics, a death certificate for a deceased woman, and five urns containing cremated remains were also found.
The FBI is increasing the size of its investigation as it prepares to send more agents back to the house with search warrants later this month.
“The objective here is thoroughness, not simply speed. We need to ensure that we do not overlook something that could help identify a victim, establish what occurred, provide an answer to a family that has been looking for one,” Special Agent in Charge Wayne Jacobs of FBI Philadelphia told the press conference Wednesday.
Eugene has not been charged in connection with any deaths and the investigation continues.
