Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson celebrated with his wife, singer, Jilly Anais, and other friends and family members after Cleveland’s 23-19 victory over the Bucs.
The couple, who were married last July, kissed and hugged after his late-game heroics helped Cleveland improve to 1-1 in Tampa.
“You deserve it baby!” Jilly said as Watson gave hugs to his loved ones — as seen in a video posted by Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot.
“Going home with the winner!! 4’s up!” she wrote in an Instagram Story post, including a photo of the pair on the field at Raymond James Stadium.
The Browns scored two touchdowns on their final four possessions to secure the win.
Watson found tight end Harold Fannin Jr. for 21-yard connection and tight end Blake Whiteheart for a game-winning 17-yard touchdown.
Watson finished 24-of-30 for 238 yards with no turnovers and a 121.9 passer rating.
“I’m just happy we got the win,” he said. “I’m right where I’m supposed to be. I’ll leave the journey in God’s hands and let the outcome be the outcome.”
Watson’s role as the starter was immediately called into question after a deflating Week 1 loss to the Jaguars with fans wanting to get another look at Shedeur Sanders.
Watson went 16-for-22 for 205 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the 34-10 loss in Jacksonville.
“I’m so happy for him,” head coach Todd Monken said of Watson. “Good for him. Good for 22 months working his (tail) off to get to where he’s at. I’m gonna leave it at that.”
Before that, Watson hadn’t played since 2024 due to a twice torn Achilles.
Watson is trying to win back the Cleveland fanbase after he was booed at home the preseason.
He also publicly apologized to the fanbase after he called them “disrespectful” and said the boos were “personal.”
The Browns host the Panthers at Huntington Bank Field on Sun., Sept. 27.
