The Trump Administration unveiled America.gov, a powerful new artificial intelligence tool to help Americans access federal government services, on Tuesday during a summit in Washington, DC.
Now, at America.gov, Americans can access 29,000 websites in one place.
“America.gov uses AI to get simple answers only from official government sources. It’s free to use, never includes ads, and keeps your privacy protected,” the website reads.
Chief Design Officer of the United States and Airbnb cofounder Joe Gebbia unveiled the website with a video trailer at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium.
The video showcases America.gov’s abilities from the National Park services to Medicare, Trump Accounts, passport services, name changes, finding government jobs, and more.

Gebbia further demonstrated how easy it is to finish tasks such as changing a married woman’s maiden name.
“You’ll be able to change your name right on the platform,” he said before walking through the process.
“This would have taken weeks of your time, multiple filings, cutting across different agencies’ websites. That’s if you even knew where to start.”
“Focus on what matters. Enter your new name, drop in your marriage certificate, and there you have it. In a few key strokes, your name change is submitted [across multiple agencies]. Enjoy the honeymoon. It’s pretty cool, right?” he added, comparing the site to a “good hotel concierge.”
Notably, this is one of the Democrats’ only arguments against voter ID requirements, as they claim married women could be disenfranchised by the SAVE America Act.

Even more features are being added to the website in 2027, allowing Americans to “complete forms, track progress, and organize everything in one place.”

America.gov replaces the websites Americans spend billions of hours searching, with a single experience that is effortless, fast, and organized around you. Just ask, and government answers.
